Yet another environment revision. This one is the Isle of Buyan and Koschei’s palace, which is pretty heavily inspired by the Kolomenskoye estate and the chalk cliffs of Rügen.

I haven’t talked much about my thesis work, mostly because it’s hard to ever feel like any given piece is done. Here is one of my character designs, for the witch Baba Yaga, a staple of Slavic folklore and one of the key characters in Deathless, the novel on which I’m basing my thesis.
